GUJCET Exam 2026: Counselling (Started), Merit List, Cutoff, Admission Process

The authority has declared the GUJCET 2026 results on May 4. Applicants who appeared for the Gujarat CET exam can check their GUJCET 2026 results at gseb.org. Students are required to enter their six-digit seat number to view their GUJCET results 2026. To get an OMR sheet xerox copy, candidates must apply on the official website within the time given. • Visit the GUJCET official website gseb.org.

• Enter the six-digit seat number in the required field.

ACPC prepared the merit list of GUJCET 2026 in order to shortlist the candidates for the counselling process. The final GUJCET merit list has been prepared by giving 60% weightage to the 10+2th (or equivalent) percentile and 40% weightage to the GUJCET percentile. Candidates who are ranked high in the GUJCET merit list 2026 will be called first for counselling and thus stand a better chance of getting their preferred seat.

GSEB has released the GUJCET eligibility criteria on the official website. Applicants filling the GUJCET application form 2026 must check the eligibility criteria.  It comprises nationality, academic qualification, qualifying marks and others. In case a candidate doesn’t meet the eligibility criteria of GUJCET 2026, but qualifies in the entrance exam, the candidate will still be disqualified from the admission process. GUJCET B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Indian nationals are eligible to appear in the exam.

• State Eligibility: The candidate needs to be a bona-fide resident of Gujarat. In such cases where the candidate is a bona-fide resident but is residing in another, the candidate is eligible to appear in the admission process.

• Academic Qualification: The candidates must have passed the 10+2 (or equivalent) exam from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/CBSE Delhi/CISCE New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board. Candidates who are appearing in their final exam in 2020 are also eligible.

• Qualifying Marks: Minimum required aggregate score in 45% marks (reserved category candidates need 40% marks).

GUJCET B.Pharma Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality – Indian citizens are eligible.

• State Eligibility – The candidate must be a resident of Gujarat. If the candidate is a bona-fide resident but is residing in another, in such cases also the candidate is eligible to appear in the exam.

• Academic Qualification – The candidates must have passed the 10+2 (or equivalent) exam from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/CBSE Delhi/CISCE New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board. Candidates who are appearing in their final exam in 2020 are also eligible. The candidate must have studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any one of Maths or Biology.

• Qualifying Marks – Minimum required aggregate score in 45% marks ( reserved category candidates need 40% marks).

The authority concluded the GUJCET 2026 registration with a late fee on January 16, 2026. Candidates had to pay a late fee of Rs 1000 while applying during the late fee window. The  GUJCET 2026 registration last date without a late fee was January 6, 2026, on the official website, gujcet.gseb.org. Steps to fill GUJCET 2026 Application Form

The step-wise process to fill out the application form for GUJCET 2026 is given below for reference:

• Exam registration- Provide basic details like name, mobile number email ID to register. The candidate login portal will be activated which must be used for all further processes.

• Fee payment- Candidates must pay the GUJCET 2026 application fee in online mode.  The payment of Rs. 350 will be allowed through the SBI Epay System (credit card/debit card/net banking) or from any SBI branch of the Country through the SBI Epay Option of “SBI Branch Payment.” 

• Filling out the application Form - Enter personal, academic, and contact details while filling out the GUJCET application form 2026

• Uploading of documents - The scanned photograph and signature of the candidate must be uploaded in the prescribed format.

• Final submission - Check the details carefully and submit the GUJCET 2026 application form. An application number will be generated after submission of the application form.

Applicants got an opportunity to correct the details provided while registering for the exam. GSEB conducted the GUJCET application form correction facility in online mode. The exam authority has released the exam pattern of the Gujarat CET in the official notification. Applicants appearing for the exam must refer to the exam pattern before starting their preparations. Aspirants can check the preparation tips to score good marks in GUJCET 2026. It is advised to start their preparation at least 6 months before the test. Here are some crucial Gujarat CET preparation tips-

• Exam Pattern and Syllabus- Understand the exam pattern and syllabus of GUJCET 2026 beforehand to know about the topics asked and their marking scheme. It will help to plan the exam strategy.
• Study plan - Once the exam pattern and syllabus are known, students must prepare a good study plan according to their strengths and weaknesses. It is important to stick to this timetable for effective preparation.
• Books- Class 11th and 12th books can be used as starter material for GUJCET exam preparation. However, candidates should refer to the best books for GUJCET 2026.
• Revision- It is the most important step. Students should revise the topics regularly to avoid missing out on any key points. As it is said revision is the key; it must not be left.
• GUJCET Sample Papers and mock tests- Practicing using the sample papers and mock test will determine the level of preparation. It is because by solving sample papers of GUJCET and taking mock tests, the candidate will be able to understand concepts better, going beyond simple rote learning. It would also help the candidate strengthen problem-solving skills, and help identify weak areas and develop time management skills. 

In case the candidate is not able to get sample papers of GUJCET 2026, they may use sample papers of JEE Main or Advanced, which are more easily available. The authority has issued the GUJCET 2026 admit card on March 17, 2026. Candidates who have submitted the Gujarat application form will be able to download the admit card through login. The GUJCET 2026 admit card can be accessed using the registered mobile number/email ID and date of birth/application number. It is mandatory to carry the GUJCET hall ticket 2026 along with a valid ID proof. The GUJCET final answer key was released on April 13, 2026. GSEB has concluded the GUJCET 2026 answer key challenge window on April 8, 2026. The provisional GUJCET 2026 answer key was released on April 4, 2026 on the official website. Candidates were able to raise objections to the answer key of GUJCET through email with supporting documents and e-challan receipt of Rs 500 per question. By comparing the official answers, students can calculate the total number of questions correctly attempted and consequently the probable score. Applicants have to follow the marking scheme prescribed by GSEB while using the GUJCET 2026 answer key. GUJCET 2023 Answer Key

The authority released the GUJCET 2026 round 1 cutoff on June 25. The GUJCET cutoff 2026 for mock allotment round has been released on the official website. The authority also published the list of GUJCET participating institutes in the counselling brochure. These colleges determine the course-wise cutoffs of GUJCET 2026 for admission to various B.Tech/B.E programmes. GUJCET 2026 cutoff is category- and branch-specific, which is generally the minimum marks below which admission is not offered. 

So, candidates need to score equal to or higher than the GUJCET cutoff 2026 for the specific institute and branch. Considering the cutoffs are prepared based on parameters like the number of sanctioned seats, applications received for admission, and the reputation of the institute, they tend to vary from one another.

ACPC has announced the GUJCET 2026 round 1 seat allotment results on June 25. To download the seat allotment result, candidates need their application number and password. The GUJCET 2026 round 1 choice filling process was concluded on June 23, 2026. The GUJCET 2026 counselling registration window was activated online. GUJCET 2026 Seat Allotment

ACPC has announced the GUJCET seat allotment 2026 for round 1 on June 25, 2026. The mock round allotment for GUJCET 2026 was announcd on June 16, 2026. Selected candidates will have to pay the partial tuition fee and download the allotment letter. The candidate who will be allotted a seat will be able to choose the option to freeze (accept) the seat or opt for upgrading. If the seats remain vacant after students withdraw, additional spot/institute-level separate counselling will also be conducted. The counselling process is then followed by admission formalities for shortlisted candidates and payment of the GUJCET course fee.
