    MHT CET 2026: The Maharashtra State CET Cell will release the MHT CET 2026 result for PCM today, June 12, 2026. The authority will activate the MHT CET result 2026 link for PCM on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. To download the MHT CET PCM result 2026, candidates will need their email ID and password. The MHT CET 2026 counselling process will be conducted online by the Maharashtra State CET Cell after the declaration of results. Candidates must first complete registration, upload required documents, and fill in their preferred colleges and courses. The MHT CET 2026 phase 2 exam is a computer-based test (CBT) exam.     About MHT CET 2026

    The full form of MHT CET is the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test.     The authority has released the MHT CET exam 2026 eligibility criteria on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. The eligibility criteria of MHT CET 2026 includes nationality, age limit, educational qualification, and more. Candidates need to meet the MHT CET exam eligibility criteria to fill out the application form. Below is the MHT CET eligibility criteria:

    MHT CET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

    • Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian national.

    • Age Limit: No age limit specified to appear for MHT CET 2026

    • Qualifying Exam:

      • Candidates appearing for/passing the HSC or an equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university are eligible.

      • B.Sc. degree holders with mathematics in class 12th are also eligible to apply.

    MHT CET 2026 Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State

    Only Maharashtra candidates claim any one Maharashtra State Candidature Type i.e. from Type A to E.

    • Type A: Candidates who have passed SSC and also HSC or Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor of Science Examination from a recognized institution in Maharashtra State. Or A candidate who is either Domicile of Maharashtra and/ or is born in Maharashtra.

    • Type B: A candidate who does not belong to Type-A above, but has a Father or Mother who is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra and possesses a Domicile Certificate.

    • Type C: Candidates who do not fall in Type A or Type B but their mother or father is a Government of India or Government of India Undertaking employee. Either of the parents should be posted in Maharashtra before the deadline for MHT CET CAP application submission (which means the counselling application form)

    • Type D: Candidates who do not fall under any above-mentioned types but has a Father or Mother who is an employee or retired employee of the Government of Maharashtra or Government of Maharashtra Undertaking.

    • Type E: Candidates who have passed SSC and/or HSC Examination from a recognized institution located in a disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area and whose Mother tongue is Marathi.

    The authority has closed the MHT CET registration portal now. The authority opened the MHT CET registration portal again for one day on April 23. Students who will fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria are eligible to fill out the MHT CET application form. The application process includes registration, form filling, uploading documents, and payment of fees. The MHT CET 2026 application fee has been revised.     Steps to fill MHT CET 2026 application form

    Candidates who are interested in applying for the MHT CET exam must follow the below steps and complete the registration.

    • Step 1: Registration - Candidates have to first register for MHT CET 2026. For registration, candidates will need to verify their mobile number and email ID by verifying the OTP. After verification, candidates have to enter their name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, and gender along with creating a username and password.
    • Step 2: Filling out the application form—After successful registration for MHT CET, candidates will have to log in to the candidate portal using the username and password. After log in to the candidates' panel, candidates have to add personal, educational, and communication details in the application form.
    • Step 3: Uploading Scanned Images - Candidates have to upload the scanned images of their photograph, signature, and PDF file of their photo ID proof as per the specifications provided by the authorities.

                                                                      MHT CET 2026 Seat Allotment 

                                                                      The seat allotment is done through a Centralized Admission Process (CAP) online in three rounds and one separate for J&K and Ladakh candidates.
