Eligibility:

MTech: 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA in the qualifying examination as indicated against the disciplines concerned and valid GATE Score / UGC-CSIR NET Certificate. The candidates who are in the final semester of their degree are eligible to apply.

Age limit for MTech: Not more than 26 years as on July 1, 2012 (Relaxations as per GOI rules apply to SC/ ST/ OBC/PH applicants)

PhD in Engineering: 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in ME/MTech.
PhD in Science: 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in Master of Science.

Note: Candidates who are in the final semester of their PG degree are eligible to apply.

Admission procedure: Admission to Ph.D. will be based on the performance in the entrance exam (written test) conducted by the department concerned followed by personal interview.
