In inter cast certificate its Naidu oc but in cast certificate its thelaga oc and I wanna apply eamcet in ap os there any problem with this?

kumardurgesh1802 19th Apr, 2025

Hello there,

Yes, there can be a problem if your caste names don’t match exactly in your documents while applying for AP EAMCET (EAPCET) or during the counselling process.

Here’s a quick breakdown:

Issue:

  • Inter Certificate says: Naidu (OC)

  • Caste Certificate says: Thelaga (OC)

While both are under OC (Open Category) , discrepancy in caste names can cause confusion or document verification issues during counselling.

What You Can Do:

  1. Check with MRO Office : Visit your local MRO or Tahsildar office and ask whether Naidu and Thelaga can be officially matched or mentioned together in one corrected certificate.

  2. Affidavit Option : You can also submit a notarized affidavit declaring that both names refer to the same caste/community and are under OC.

  3. Correct the Record (If Time Permits) : Try to get your Inter certificate or caste certificate corrected so both mention the same caste (preferably "Thelaga Naidu" if that’s acceptable locally).

  4. During EAPCET Application: Use the caste name that matches your official caste certificate (Thelaga) and keep supporting documents ready for counselling.

    If You Ignore It:
Mismatch might lead to rejection during certificate verification , even if your marks are good.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, then feel free to share your questions with us, we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

i got sc rank 23386 will i get an nit or any seat

Rubina Naseer 19th Apr, 2025

With an SC rank of 23386 in JEE Main, it is quite unlikely to get a seat in NITs, even in the less preferred branches or newer ones. Usually, SC category seats in NITs close around ranks below 10000 for most branches.

Still, you can:

1. Explore IIITs, GFTIs, or state counselling options.

2. Participate in CSAB Special Rounds—seats sometimes open up.

3. Look into private colleges that accept JEE ranks with scholarships.

i got 241187 rank in jee 2025 . which college and branch i can get

Rubina Naseer 19th Apr, 2025

With a JEE Main 2025 rank of 241187 (general rank), your chances in NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs through the general category are very slim. But options are still there depending on your category , home state , and preferences .

Here’s what you can consider:

  1. Private Colleges : Many good private colleges accept JEE Main ranks (e.g., Amity, SRM, VIT, UPES).

  2. State Government Colleges : Some states have engineering colleges that admit through JEE Main and may have lower cutoffs for home state quota.

  3. CSAB Special Rounds : Some low-demand branches in newer colleges open up unexpectedly.

If you tell me:

  • Your category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS?)

  • Your home state

  • Any specific branch or college preferences

if my see are in rank is 657982 can I get any good college CS branch OBC category

Rubina Naseer 19th Apr, 2025

With a CRL of 657982 and OBC category, getting Computer Science in top colleges like NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs is not possible through the regular JoSAA rounds.

However, here are a few paths to consider:

1. CSAB Special Rounds: Some newer or lesser-known GFTIs may offer seats in branches like CS, though rare at this rank.

2. State Counseling: Some states (like Bihar, MP, Rajasthan, etc.) have government colleges that accept JEE scores with lower cutoffs for OBC and home state students.

3. Private Colleges: Many private colleges (like Galgotias, LPU, Amrita, etc.) offer CS with JEE-based admissions and scholarships.

My jee common rank is 109708 obc category home state which branch i able to get at sgsits indore.

Rubina Naseer 19th Apr, 2025

With a JEE Main rank of 109,708 in the OBC category and Madhya Pradesh as your home state, you have a good chance of securing admission to SGSITS Indore in branches like:

- Mechanical Engineering

- Electrical Engineering

- Civil Engineering

- Industrial & Production Engineering

- Biomedical Engineering

These branches usually have closing ranks in the range of 85,000 to 1,00,000 for OBC candidates under the home state quota. However, branches like CSE or IT may be more competitive and challenging to get into.

Participate actively in DTE MP counseling for better chances, and consider other colleges in MP as well.

can i give a jee after one year of collage in another engineering collage

Rubina Naseer 19th Apr, 2025

Yes, you can appear for JEE Main even after joining an engineering college. This approach is commonly referred to as a "partial drop." It allows you to secure a seat in a college while simultaneously preparing for a better opportunity in the following year. This method offers a safety net, ensuring you have a backup plan in case your subsequent attempts don't yield the desired results.

However, it's important to note that if you opt for this route, you will not be eligible for admission to IITs through JEE Advanced in the future. Additionally, if you leave your current college after one year, you may be required to pay the fees for the remaining duration of the course as per the institution's policies.

I had got 140000 rank in open category in jee mains My caste is OBC can i get a free seat in a nit or iiit college?

Rubina Naseer 19th Apr, 2025

With a rank of 140,000 in JEE Main under the OBC category, getting a free seat (i.e., a fully funded or government-subsidized seat) in a top NIT or IIIT is unlikely, especially in popular branches like Computer Science or Electronics.

However, here are some possibilities:

1. NITs and IIITs:

- You might have a chance in newer NITs or IIITs or in less popular branches (like Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) in some NITs.

- The home state quota can provide some advantage, particularly in NITs closer to your home state.

2. Government Funded Institutes (GFTIs):

- GFTIs typically have higher cutoffs than NITs but may have a chance for you in branches with lower demand.

3. Fee Waivers or Scholarships:

- Some private colleges or lesser-known government colleges offer fee waivers or scholarships based on your JEE Main rank.

Recommendations:

- Participate in counseling: Explore options in the CSAB Special Rounds or state counseling.

- Consider private colleges that offer scholarships based on your JEE Main rank.

669000 in jee main which college I get

Rubina Naseer 19th Apr, 2025

With a JEE Main rank of 669,000, it’s highly unlikely to secure a seat in top NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs for popular branches like CSE, IT, or Electronics.

However, you still have options:

1. Private Colleges: Many private universities and colleges (such as Amity University, UPES, LPU, etc.) accept JEE Main scores for admission to various branches and may offer scholarships.

2. Government Colleges through State Counseling: Some state-level government colleges might have lower cutoffs for home state candidates, especially for branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

3. Newer or Lesser-Known Institutes: You may have a chance in newer NITs or GFTIs for less competitive branches.
