AMIE stands for Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers. The AMIE exam is a distance-based engineering degree-level exam administered by the Institution of Engineers in India for admission to BE (Bachelor of Engineering ) and BTech (Bachelor of Technology) programs. Eligibility For AMIE

  • Candidates for AMIE must hold a 3-year Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent in any engineering area. Notably, there won't be any constraints on the score used in the admissions process.

  • Anyone who has earned a +2 / HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate)/ PDC (Primary Dakhil Certificate) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as their primary subjects with a minimum of 45% marks is eligible to appear for this exam.

  • Participants in AMIE may have training credentials equivalent to those listed above.

  • Technician Member: The minimum criteria is to pass the 12th standard with a minimum aggregate of 45%.

  • Senior Technician Member: Three-year engineering diploma and a minimum of 18 years. They should also be a technical member.
