What is the full form of ANM?

The Full Form of ANM is the Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery. Medical nursing is a two-year undergraduate course, certification, or diploma programme. Depending on the institution, it could last anywhere from one to three academic years, including the six months of the internship. The goal of the course is to equip students with the skills necessary to provide basic medical care and treatment for the entire community. The care of people in order to help them achieve and sustain a healthy life from conception to death is the emphasis of the healthcare profession.

Eligibility For ANM Course:

  • Candidate must have received a minimum cumulative score of 45% on the 10+2 exam in order to be eligible for the ANM course.

  • The candidate needs to be in good health.

  • Before allowing students to enrol in this course, some colleges have entrance exams.

  • By the end of the calendar year in which they are asking for admission, the applicant must be at least 17 years old.

  • The age of the candidate should not be more than 35.

  • The candidate must have passed a recognised Board's Class 12 test with a major in either the arts or the sciences.

  • Candidates must have successfully completed class 12 at the National Institute of Open School in either the arts or sciences to be eligible.

  • The applicant should be admitted just once a year.
