ACPC- Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) is the authority responsible for conducting counselling for admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the state of Gujarat. Candidates are required to appear for GUJCET for undergraduate courses and for Gujarat PGCET or GATE for post graduate courses to be eligible for ACPC counselling and seat allotment procedure. Candidates will be allotted seats based on the merit prepared on the basis of the performance in the qualifying examination as well as in the entrance test. What is ACPC?

ACPC, commonly known as Admission Committee for Professional Courses is the authority which is responsible to conduct the counselling for admissions to various courses like Engineering, Pharmacy, MBA/MCA, B.Arch and Hotel Management. ACPC aims at conducting the counselling and seat allotment process in a fair manner.

Role of ACPC

  • ACPC is responsible for the counselling and seat allotment process for admissions in professional courses in the state of Gujarat.

  • The committee prepares the merit list based on the performance of the candidates in entrance exams as well as in class 12 or equivalent examination.

  • The authority is responsible for the seat allotment process to allocate both Government seats and management seats.

ACPC Counselling for GUJCET

Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) will conduct the counselling and seat allotment of GUJCET 2020 tentatively from the third week of May. Candidates will have to visit the designated branch branches and purchase the information booklet before registering for GUJCET 2020 counselling and seat allotment. ACPC is responsible for various steps of GUJCET counselling & seat allotment process including registration, choice filling, reporting at help centres, allotment of seat and more. The counselling and seat allotment of GUJCET 2020 will be held in two rounds with an additional mock round. The seat allotment will be done on the basis of the merit, preferences and availability of seats. The seat allotment results will be declared in online mode. Candidates allotted seats will have to confirm their admission by paying the required amount of fee.

Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat conducts the counselling of Gujarat PGCET in online mode. A merit list is prepared by the authorities on the basis of which candidates are shortlisted to participate in Gujarat PGCET counselling. The authorities will conduct three rounds of Gujarat PGCET 2020 counselling. A mock round of counselling will also be conducted by the authorities before the start of the actual counselling. Candidates will have to login to their account to fill their preferred choices during the counselling of Gujarat PGCET 2020. It must be noted that the GATE qualified candidates will be given preference over PGCET qualified candidates. The authorities will first fill the seats with the GATE qualified candidates and then Gujarat PGCET candidates will be considered after all GATE qualified candidates will be allotted seats.

ACPC MBA/MCA Admission

CMAT scores are considered for ACPC MBA/MCA admissions. ACPC will prepare a merit based on the performance in the qualifying entrance exam. All the Management Seats will be allotted by the management of the respective Professional Educational College or Institution, on the basis of an inter merit list of the candidates whose names will be present in the merit list prepared by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses.

ACPC Hotel and Tourism Management admissions
