BCECE Board

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, commonly known as BCECE Board is the official body for conducting examinations and allotment of seats in engineering, medical, management, pharmacy, agriculture and polytechnic courses in Bihar.

BCECE board conducts examinations for professional UG, PG, diploma, lateral entry and ITI courses as well as for some competitive examinations. The board has discontinued entrance examinations for some courses like engineering and medical. Admission in engineering is now done through JEE Main whereas for medical courses like MBBS and PG medical, NEET score is used. Other than engineering and medical, the board conducts exams and allot seats on the basis of marks in exams.

BCECE Board Exam List for Undergraduate Courses

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board conducts the BCECE entrance exam for admission to the following listed undergraduate courses

• Bachelor of Pharmacy

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT), Lab Technician (LT), Operation Theatre Assistant (OTA), X-Ray Assistant, Ophthalmic Assistant and B.Sc Nursing

BCECE Counselling List

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECE Board) conducts the counselling for below listed courses and do not conduct any examination

• Undergraduate Engineering Admission Counselling (UGEAC)

• Postgraduate Engineering Admission Counselling (PGEAC)

• Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC)

• Postgraduate Medical Admission Counselling (PGMAC)

Undergraduate Engineering Admission Counselling

Undergraduate Engineering Admission Counselling, commonly known as UGEAC is conducted to offer admission in B.Tech courses in all the participating institutes. The allotment of seats is through merit list of marks secured in JEE Main. Students have to register online after which the board will release a merit list of all the candidates based on their score in JEE Main 2020. Students whose name appears in the merit list will be required to fill choices of colleges and course as per their preference. The allotment of seats will be through a centralised UGEAC 2020 counselling.

Postgraduate Engineering Admission Counselling

Postgraduate Engineering Admission Counselling, also known as PGEAC is conducted to offer admission in M.Tech courses in all the participating institutes of Bihar. The allotment of seats is through a merit list of marks secured in GATE. Registration for Bihar PGEAC start from June. Students have to register online after which the board will release a merit list of all the candidates based on their score in GATE. Students whose name appears in the merit list will be required to fill choices of colleges and course as per their preference. The allotment of seats will be through a centralised PGEAC 2020 counselling.

Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC)

Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling or UGMAC is for admission in MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ B.V.Sc. & A.H. in Govt. Medical / Dental / Bihar Veterinary Colleges and Private Medical / Dental/ Ayush Colleges of Bihar. Admission is done on the basis of score of candidates in NEET examination.

Postgraduate Medical Admission Counselling (PGMAC)

Bihar Post Graduate Medical Admission Counselling or PGMAC is organised for admission of candidates in PG medical courses in institutes of Bihar. Authorities conduct Bihar PG 2020 medical admission for MD/MS/PG diploma courses on the basis of NEET PG 2020 scores. There are conducted three rounds of Bihar PG medical counselling and if seats remain vacant after the third round the same will be filled by a pop-up round.
