With the recent launch of a new smartclass programme–the 'Class Transformation System (CTS)' by Educomp, the learning process for students is more likely to become interactive and interesting in class rooms. Educomp Solutions CEO Shantanu Prakash said that with 8100 progressive schools already availing ‘smartclass’ across India, by March 2012, we would be able to add 40,000 classrooms to our network".
The CTS technology package, (usually for five years) for schools comprises content (based on the syllabus of school’s affiliated Board), hardware (including short arm short throw projection system, integrated green and white display board, in-built document camera etc.) software and a resource coordinator.
