How many ways NTA Mock Test can be Accessed?

Candidates can attempt mock test in 3 ways:

  1. In online mode
  2. By downloading mock test by NTA from official website
  3. By practising mock tests at the TPCs for which they have to click on Mock test registrations and register for the nearest TPC.

Steps to appear for online NTA Mock Test?

  1. Visit the NTA official website - nta.ac.in
  2. The topmost menu gives two options - NTA mock test and Download mock test.
  3. In both the mode candidates have to choose their choice of exam and respective paper they will be appearing for.
  4. To practice online, click on the "Mock test" option to get the login window and click on login and start practising.
  5. To download the Tests, click on the option to download and save the test before practising

NTA Test Practice Centres (TPC)

On the guidelines of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), NTA will set up and created a network of TPCs for candidates, especially in remote and rural areas so that they practice and become comfortable in taking a Computer Based Test (CBT). This facility is completely free of cost. To access TPCs, candidates have to register online (on NTA website) where they are provided a convenient TPC near to their location to practice on a given computer node. This step is taken to provide practice tests and questions so that candidates can familiarize themselves with logging into the system, go through the detailed instructions regarding the test, use the mouse or numeric keyboard on screen (virtual) for attempting each question, scroll down to the next question, navigate between questions, review and edit their options and submit questions. In these TPCs, candidates can attempt mock test by NTA if they are unable to download or login online.

How to Register for NTA Test Practice Centres?

Follow the given below steps to register for TPCs:

  • Visit NTA official website for registration and and click on the link ‘Student Registration (For Practice Center)’.
  • Select login method, either through Gmail or Facebook .
  • After login confirmation candidates will be redirected to the registration page where they will have to enter personal, contact, academic information, as requisite.
  • Select the NTA exam, that candidate is going to appear for- like JEE Main, NCHM, UGC NET, NEET UG, JNU, CSIR, etc.
  • Select the preferable centre from the list available (Center location are sorted on the basis of candidate’s current geo location). They have to select 5 centres in the order of preference.
  • Select the anyone sessions from the 6 sessions given.
  • Review the center and schedule selection
  • Click on the ‘Confirmation’ tab. candidate can see that the data entered has been submitted.
  • Candidate gets the approval as SMS on the registered mobile number. This SMS is used as an entry pass at the Centre. The SMS are sent two days in advance along with an e-mail at the registered e-mail Id.
