Amar Nath and Shashi Khosla School Of Information Technology

Amar Nath and Shashi Khosla School of Information Technology was established in 2004 with an aim to foster interdisciplinary, goal-oriented research, innovation and post-graduate education in IT. The School encourages, supports, and offers the means for interdisciplinary, goal-driven research and innovation in the field.

Students are often encouraged to undertake research in any interdisciplinary area of IT, such as dependable computing, information security, information storage and retrieval, high-speed networks, web-based computing, multimedia systems, e-commerce, HCI (human-computer interface), robotics and intelligent systems, embedded systems and sensor networks, geographic information systems, optical information processing, nanotechnology modelling, and biotechnology. The establishment of cutting-edge laboratories for use by students, teachers, and the school's own programmes is another key goal of the institute.

Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management

This is a premier institute in developing ‘Young Telecom Leaders’. Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management is well known as a leading institution for producing young telecom leaders who would strive to make India into a telecom powerhouse. PhD, MS, MTech, and MBA degrees, with a focus on telecom systems, are all available at Bharti School. This School offers its pupils cutting-edge labs that are at par with the best in the world. Kusuma School Of Biological Sciences

Kusuma School Of Biological Sciences, established in 2008, aims to combine developing fields with biological sciences. Additionally, it aims to cultivate and preserve a programme in research and education in areas like infectious diseases and non-communicable disorders, cognitive and computational neuroscience and in engineering biomaterials .

The School of Interdisciplinary Research

A forum for supporting interdisciplinary research at IIT Delhi was created when the School of Interdisciplinary Research (SIRe) was established in October 2017.

The school's aim is to bring together different colleges of streams such as medical, technology, social science and more for research and innovation. The school focuses on making it possible to interact with teachers from other institutions like AIIMS, JNU, etc. It is anticipated that the school will eventually be able to start a number of cross-disciplinary programmes that do not now exist.

School of Public Policy

In order to teach the new generation about policy professionals, research and enhance policy processes in India and beyond, the School of Public Policy was established in 2021 by IIT Delhi. The school aims to do top-tier research on a variety of subjects related to the generation and use of scientific and technological information for developmental objectives in an environment that is both domestically and globally changing.

It also focuses on creating policy recommendations and implementation plans to solve certain developmental difficulties. The school makes the discussion about the policy needs, an implementation plan, and monitoring and assessment with high-level policymakers. It encourages discussion among the general public, scholars, and decision-makers about the societal and policy consequences of significant advances in science and technology.

Yardi School of Artificial Intelligence

India is among the top countries with most number of AI related researches, companies and jobs. Yardi School of Artificial intelligence(AI) is the best step by IIT Delhi to make India the top most country in the list.

The PhD course offered by the institute, includes courses in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, and mathematical foundations. It has faculty members with main research specialisation in the AI and its application world.

These schools were started with an aim of research and innovation in specific fields, and to give India top class scientists. They also have created a side aim of building world class labs for specialised field research and innovation.
