The School of Interdisciplinary Research

A forum for supporting interdisciplinary research at IIT Delhi was created when the School of Interdisciplinary Research (SIRe) was established in October 2017.

The school's aim is to bring together different colleges of streams such as medical, technology, social science and more for research and innovation. The school focuses on making it possible to interact with teachers from other institutions like AIIMS, JNU, etc. It is anticipated that the school will eventually be able to start a number of cross-disciplinary programmes that do not now exist.
