The procedure to apply for SRM University admission is that the student needs to submit the application form either online by an option of e-payment or draft. SRM University direct admission is based on the marks obtained by candidates in the 12th class examination. For direct admission in SRM University to PG courses, the candidates’ marks in the undergraduate programme are taken into consideration.   • Minimum 50% aggregate in PCM

  • Passed in Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern ) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS

  • GCE A-level or International Baccalaureate(IB) diploma or IB certificate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies as major subjects (equivalent to Advanced Placement level in each subject) in any International schools within India.

M. Tech in Biomedical Engineering

B.E / B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering / Biomedical & Instrumentation Engineering / ICE / EIE /ECE/ EEE/ Biotechnology / Nanotechnology / Medical Electronics (or) M.Sc.(Electronics / Medical Electronics / Applied Electronics) (or) M.Sc.(Physics / Medical Physics / Biophysics) (or) M.Sc. (Bioinformatics / Biomedical Informatics / Biotechnology) (or) MBBS / BPT / BOT (or) its equivalent.

B.Des.

  • A Pass in 10+2 (Higher Secondary) examination or any other equivalent examination of any authority recognized by SRMIST with a minimum of 50% aggregate/percentage of marks. The candidate can belong to any group of study (Science, Commerce, Fine Arts or any other stream).

  • Criteria 1: UCEED Score + (Written Exam + Personal Interview) at SRMIST

  • Criteria 2: Written Exam + Personal Interview at SRMIST

MBBS

  • Candidates must complete the age of 17 years on or before 31stDecember, of the year of admission to the MBBS course.

  • H.S.C / (+2) or equivalent qualification with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Botany & Zoology with minimum marks as per NMC norms.

  • Eligible NEET (UG) score as prescribed by NMC.

B Sc in Cardiac Care Technology

  • Candidates shall be completed at the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.

  • The Maximum age limit for admission is 30 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.

  • He/She has passed the H.S.C / (10+2) or equivalent Examination from a recognized board / University in India with Minimum aggregate of 50 % Marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Botany + Zoology / Biotechnology , provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately.

  • Candidates who have studied abroad and have passed the equivalent qualification as determined by the association of Indian Universities as per the guidelines to determine the eligibility and must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Botany + Zoology / Biotechnology and English up to 12th standard level.

  • The qualifying Examinations passed by FN/PIO/CIWGC Students should be considered equivalent to Eligibility Examinations by the Association of Indian Universities / Academic Council.

BBA

Minimum Eligibility

Pass in Higher secondary with minimum 50 % aggregate marks is required or mandatory.

MBA

  • A Bachelor's degree with minimum aggregate of 50%

  • Students should have appeared for any one of the nationally recognized entrance tests (CAT/TANCET/XAT/MAT/GMAT/NMAT/CMAT) or SRM Joint Entrance Exam (SRMJEE-M).

  • Professionals with work experience may also apply if they qualify the above two eligibility criteria.

  • Students with Diploma and UGC recognised Distance education degrees will have to mandatorily undertake test conducted by SRM IST and score a min of 60%

B. Com. in Accounting & Finance

10 + 2 (Higher Secondary) with Commerce, Accountancy . (Minimum Aggregate of 50%)

B.Sc. in Biotechnology


10 + 2 (Higher Secondary) with Biology mandatory with Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, Psychology or any Life Science subjects.(Minimum Aggregate of 50%)

B.Sc. in Chemistry

10 + 2 (Higher Secondary) with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics Subjects . (Minimum Aggregate of 50%)

B.Sc. in Mathematics
