In 1980, the Manipal Institute of Management was renamed the TA Pai Management Institute. TAPMI is the common name for it. The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) has recognised TAPMI Manipal's M.B.A. programme. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) have all granted accreditation to the institute. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has given its approval to the institute. TAPMI is ranked 32nd in the management category in the NIRF 2021 rankings. TAPMI offers management courses such as postgraduate management programmes and doctoral management programmes. The institute offers a total of five management courses. TAPMI offers a total of five management courses. The institute offers a total of five different courses. Full-time TAPMI Manipal courses are available. M.B.A., M.B.A. Banking and Financial Services, M.B.A. Human Resource Management, M.B.A. Marketing, and Ph.D. Management are among the courses offered by the institute. TAPMI Admission Process

The T A Pai Management Institute accepts applications for postgraduate and doctoral programmes. The initial step in the T A Pai Management Institute admissions process is to meet the qualifying requirements. After completing the college application form, candidates can move on to the next phase of admissions. TAPMI Manipal has a two-way admission system for the M.B.A. programme, with one for candidates with less than 20 months of work experience and the other for individuals with more than 20 months of work experience. The TAPMI Manipal MBA admissions procedure is the similar for both sorts of candidates, with the exception that in the first case, candidates must achieve minimal cut-off marks in CAT/XAT/GMAT, X, XII, and graduation, but in the second case, there are no cut-off marks. Shortlisted candidates are chosen based on their performance in the admission exam and all previous exams, work experience, extracurricular activities, and statement of purpose. The institute performs an English proficiency test, a group discussion, and personal interviews after shortlisting candidates from both groups. Candidates must take an entrance exam and an interview to be admitted to T A Pai Management Institute's Phd Management programme. Candidates who have passed the UGC/CSIR(JRF)/UGC/CSIR NET/SLET/GATE are exempt from the entrance exam. After the candidates have been chosen, they must submit the necessary paperwork and pay the fees in order to secure their seats at the college.

TAPMI Stepwise Admission process for Candidates with Work Experience of Less Than 20 Months

  • Candidates must first satisfy the eligibility requirements.

  • They must next take the CAT/XAT/GMAT and complete the college application form.

  • Candidates will be shortlisted based on their CAT (85 percentile)/XAT (85 percentile)/GMAT (630 marks), graduation (60 percentile), XII (60 percentile), and X (60 percentile) results (60 percent marks).

  • Candidates who have been shortlisted will be notified by email or SMS.

  • Shortlisted candidates must then take the English Proficiency Test (EPT), the Moderated Group Discussion (MGD), and the Personal Interview (PI).

  • Finally, candidates will be chosen based on their entrance exam scores (35% weightage), academic performance in grades X, XII, and graduation (20% weightage), group discussion and interview (40%) and gender diversity and extracurricular activities (5% weightage) (5 percent weightage).

  • To confirm their acceptance, selected candidates must submit their documentation and pay the costs.

TAPMI Stepwise Admission process for Candidates with Work Experience of More Than 20 Months

  • Candidates must first meet TAPMI Manipal's qualifying requirements.

  • Second, they must take the CAT/XAT/GMAT and receive a passing score.

  • Fill out the college application form after that.

  • Finally, candidates will be shortlisted based on their CAT/XAT/GMAT scores (whichever is greater), academic performance (X, XII, Graduation), job experience (months of experience, type of firm), extracurricular achievements (if any), and statement of purpose.

  • Fourth, those who have been shortlisted must take the EPT, MGD, and PI.

  • Fifth, exam results (35 percent weightage), academic performance in grades X, XII, and graduation (20 percent weightage), group discussion and interview (40 percent weightage), gender diversity, and extracurricular activities will all be considered in the selection process (5 percent weightage).

  • Finally, to confirm TAPMI Manipal acceptance, selected candidates must submit documentation and pay fees.

TAPMI Admission Process for Ph.D Management

  • Candidates must meet all of the requirements.

  • Candidates must next complete the college application form.

  • Candidates must take an admission exam and an interview.

  • Candidates who have passed the UGC/CSIR(JRF)/UGC/CSIR NET/SLET/GATE are exempt from the entrance exam and must just appear for an interview.

  • Candidates will be chosen based on their performance in the admission exam, the interview, and their work experience.

  • Candidates who have been chosen must submit their documents and pay the fees.

TAPMI Hostels

TAPMI's five hostel complexes were created with the students' needs for hard study and relaxation in mind. Each room has an attached bathroom and solar-heated hot water that is available 24 hours a day. There are lifts in every hostel, as well as backup power and Wi-Fi Internet access.

Since the NMAT cutoff for TAPMI is expected to be around 220 marks in 2024, it is quite likely that you will receive a call from TAPMI with an NMAT score of 217. The level of difficulty of the examination, the number of test-takers, and TAPMI's seat intake are some of the factors that affect the cutoff each year. Before, 2023 the cut off was 220 Score.
