UPES Result: Know how to Check your Semester Result and Download Marksheet

UPES Dehradun conducts the semester exams at the end of each semester and releases the semester result for all UG and PG courses on its official website. UPES semester results can be checked by students in online mode.

Odd semester exams are conducted in November/December; while even semester exams are conducted in May/June. Post exam, the semester-wise results are uploaded by UPES Dehradun on its official website. In order to check their UPES results, students need to enter their application number and date of birth.

UPES Dehradun Evaluation Process

In the semester results, students are evaluated on the basis of their internal assignments, mid semester exams and end semester UPES exams. GPA, Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of students are calculated on the basis of grades obtained by them. For both UG and PG UPES courses, minimum grade for qualifying semester exam is C.

Students who could not secure the required grades or wish to improve their grades can also appear in supplementary exams conducted by UPES. Criteria for giving supplementary / improvement exams are -

  • If students wish to improve their grades

  • If students have failed to secure minimum passing grades / marks

  • If students have missed the end semester exams

  • If students were debarred from giving exam due to low attendance

Note that, students securing grades below A will only be allowed to give UPES supplementary exams and the best of grades will be retained after supplementary exams.
