Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) was founded by a group of visionaries part of Jesuits Fathers in 1949 to foster greater good in the society by bringing change in the educational and academic system in India. The first campus of XLRI was established in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, which in 2017 underwent an expansion, founding a second campus as XLRI Delhi-NCR campus at Jhajjar, Haryana. Both the campuses of XLRI uphold the vision and mission of the Jesuits Fathers as a priority which is reflected in their offered courses, programs, and their respective curriculum. To maintain the credibility of education at the institution, the authorities of the institution provide comprehensive XLRI study material for students to acquire knowledge from.

The XLRI study material is offered to the current and new students in two ways, the first the offline books, printed articles, theses, and journal papers found at the library constructed on the campuses itself, and the second way is online, or e-resources. Students studying in XLRI or are taking admission at XLRI has an opportunity to gather knowledge and learn by means of XLRI study material provided to the students via offline and online mode.

The present article will discuss mainly the XLRI study material available online on the e-resource platform of the institution. The e-resource platform of XLRI is part of their Sir Jehangir Ghandy Library whose access is only granted to the enrolled students of the institution.

XLRI as part of their vision has built an extensive library on the campus, known as Sir Jehangir Ghandy Library, which not only provides study material to the students studying at the XLRI on the campus itself but also grants them access to online study material accessible from anywhere at any time. The Sir Jehangir Ghandy Library has an online e-resources portal where students are enrolled in different programs offered at the two campuses of XLRI can access diverse study material in different forms. These online e-resources grant students the opportunity to learn new topics and furnish their knowledge even from remote areas.

The table mentioned below describes a few forms of study material available at the e-resource portal of XLRI for the convenience of students. The study material available on this portal can only be accessed with a login id, which is provided to each student at the time of enrollment when their library membership is registered. Without the login credentials, students may not be able to access the XLRI study material on the e-resources portal.

XLRI e-resource portal has over 2500 E-books which students may access with the login id provided to them with the library membership card allotted to them by the officials of the institution. The e-books deliver students the advantage of gathering knowledge and learning at any time and at any place.

  • E-journals

XLRI study material on its e-resource portal has access to over 300 national and international e-journals that grant students the opportunity to be aware of new findings and developments in the industry.

  • E-databases

XLRI has numerous e-databases, which direct students to real-time census and market reports of the current industry. This provides students the advantage of knowing the intricacies of the market and learning through real business proceedings.

XLRI study material available on the online platforms in the form of e-resources can only be accessible to the students enrolled in any of the programs available at the institution. The procedure to access XLRI study material on the e-resource portal is the membership id granted to the student at the time of enrollment. Students who have taken admission at any of the two campuses of XLRI are provided membership to its library. With that membership, students are provided with a login id and password which students can use to login into the e-resource portal or the e-library of XLRI.

The steps for accessing all the study material available on the XLRI e-library are as follows.

Step 1: Students who have received their membership details, can visit the official webpage of XLRI e-resources, where they are allowed to select any form of an e-resource to study from. The different e-resource forms are mentioned on the toolbar of the webpage.

Step 2: On clicking on any of the e-resource forms on the homepage, students will be directed to a login web page.

Step 3: On the login web page, students are requested to fill in the login credentials received as part of their membership details, and click on the login option.

Step 4: Clicking on the login option will direct students into the portal where they may access all the study material uploaded on it.

You have not mention the name of the college or university for which you want to know the fee structure and admission process. If it is Anna University Chennai then admission process is go through the 10 set TNA University is own interested for different course specially engineering science and MBA courses admission. Admission TANCET &TNEA score is accepted. University reched established India year of 1978 is a State University was named after his former  chief minister Annadurai.

Fees for BE of 4,years is 1.1 5 lakhs , fees for 5 years B SC course 2.10 lacs , fees for post graduation of 2 years 74.26 k.


Basically, Its depend on the college Ranking, Tier city, Popularity. But Normally if you planning to do MBA to Government colleges so mostly it cost you near 2 Lakh for All semester And if you will take admission Private colleges so it cost your approx 6 Lakh to 8 Lakh.

Dear Aspirant,

You can apply for XIMB and XLRI for MBA. However, both of these colleges do not accept MAT scores. XIMB accepts CAT, XAT, NMAT and X-GMT scores. XLRI accepts only XAT scores. So you have to give these exams and clear their cutoffs to get into these two B-Schools.
