Established in 1971 by Kanshi Ram, D. K. Khaparde, and Dina Bhana, the All India Backward and Minority Communities Employees Federation (abbreviated as BAMCEF) is a group for workers from marginalized communities. The Scheduled Castes(SC), Scheduled Tribes(ST), and Other Backward Classes(OBC) are all referred to as "backward" in this context. However, this does not imply that every one of these groups is similarly backward. Some people are further behind than others. These communities are all, therefore, backward. All Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes members who historically accepted conversion and became Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Jains, or Buddhists are included in the class of Minorities.
The caste-based discrimination affects minorities, SC, ST, and OBC people. Therefore, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Periyar Rama Sami, and Mahatma Jyotirao Phule set the purpose of their efforts to alter the unjust societal structures. Caste-based discrimination victims can only actively take part in the campaign for structural reforms.
It makes sense that organizing those communities that gain from the system would be useless. Thus, organizing the communities harmed by the inequality system is essential to change it.
Governmental and non-governmental educated employees make up BAMCEF. As a result, BAMCEF activists cannot actively join any political party. Participating in politics would violate civil service conduct regulations. As a result, BAMCEF has avoided politics and activism. The BAMCEF has been kept non-religious to serve better to the strategic goal of creating a 6000 caste organization.
Indian activist Waman Chindhuji Meshram was born in 1957. He is the national president of the Bahujan Kranti Morcha and a group of workers called BAMCEF.
BAMCEF was founded in 1971 by Kanshi Ram, D. K. Khaparde, and Dina Bhana. It was given the new name BAMCEF at a conference in Delhi in 1978. On December 6, 1978, BAMCEF was formally established as an independent, non-political organization.
It is a group that fights caste discrimination and is primarily made up of government employees.
According to Section 2(c) of the National Commission for Minorities Act of 1992, the following groups have been designated as minority communities: Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jain, and Zoroastrians (Parsis).
BAMCEF is heavily influenced by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar's philosophy.
