A government organisation under section 3 is the Bihar School Examination Board or BSEB for short. It is in charge of holding final exams for junior and senior secondary students. It not only administers tests in public schools but also in private ones. The complete form of BSEB should be ingrained in the minds of Bihar students. Exam questions are exclusively based on the Bihar government's prescribed syllabus. Patna serves as the location of the Bihar Board of School Examination's main office. Additionally, it holds exams for diploma programmes in TET and physical education. The Bihar school examination board holds school exams twice a year.
All class 10 students are required to take two languages, social science, math, and science. In addition to this, students may choose from a variety of additional subjects. Between a language study subject and an elective, they can choose. A student is able to select a language subject if they are more interested in it.
In Class 12, there are three streams: science, commerce, and arts. There are several subjects accessible in the arts, and students must select 5 of them. Students in the commerce programme must take any five subjects out of English, Hindi, Statistical Mathematics, Business Studies, and Accountancy. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics are the four primary subjects for students in the science stream. Either PCM or PCB is to opt with two electives that are also required. These examinations are administered by the Bihar School Examination Board or BSEB.
The Higher Secondary Examination (HSC) and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams for grades 12 and 10, respectively.
The Bihar Board Books are available for classes 6 to 12 in both English and Hindi.
For each subject, a 30% is the minimum mark needed to pass the board exams.
