Pharm D in India stands for Doctorate of Pharmacy. It is a professional pre-PhD postgraduate program for six years. The degree program deals with the study of clinical drugs and experiments. It also focuses on the study of medicine and the health of the people. This course is divided into two phases, phase I will be for five years and Phase II will be for one year of duration with internship/residency. Candidate must pass 10+2 Science (Medical/ Non-Medical) or D.Pharmacy
Qualify for a diploma in Pharmacy from Pharm.D college recognized by PCI (Pharmacy Council of India)
Required Entrance examinations are BV CET, MET, GPAT, NIMSEE, SRMJEE
Candidates must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
At least a minimum of 50 % of marks in 10+2 are required
Must pass a standardized test (SAT) and TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE language proficiency tests
