Water is one of the world's largest resources. Life can't exist without water. Water has various unique features which make it a very useful resource. Yet, several ideas reveal that early life started and prospered in the waters. It is clear that water is one of the main elements of life on earth, with a surface of two thirds covered by water and the human body comprising of 75 percent of it. Without water, we can't imagine earth, water is that much important It would be lifeless, dead, collapsing into dust, sand, clay or rock, without any water and nothing thereon. The atmospheric composition would also alter. The total heating effect of the sun, currently contained in ice and water, would be released.
The Earth's climate is actually ocean-controlled. Water cools up the soil, warms it when it refreshes. Water freezes, releases its own heat and heats the frozen air when the temperature drops low enough. As the temperature rises sufficiently, water evaporates and it cools part of the heat. While water molecules are structurally simple, their physical and chemical properties, which are not typical of most substances found on Earth, are extremely intricate.
For example, ice cubes are commonly floating in a glass of ice water, for chemical entities such behavior is strange. The solid state is denser than liquid for nearly every chemical compound, so the solid sinks to the bottom of the liquid. Ice would sink if it was denser than liquid water, and more water would then be exposed to the cold temperature. So, finally, the pond would freeze throughout and destroy all the present living forms.

Importance of water on human body
Water quenches the thirst and regulates body temperature more than merely it does. Without water, the human body cannot perform and fulfill its tasks. For their livelihoods every human cell needs water, whether it is the smallest unit of the nervous system's blood cell or the neuron.
The role of water in the distribution of nutrients is important. The human body can eliminate waste by transpiration, urination and defecation through enough water intakes. The kidneys and liver need it, as do the intestines, to wash waste away.

Importance of water in living organisms
Water is the medium via which the bodies of living beings transfer all the needed vitamins and minerals (owing to its ability to dissolve a wide range of substances). Furthermore, the work of enzymes in living organisms is facilitated by water. For example, the pancreas secreting sodium bicarbonate is broken up into water ions, which makes the medium alkaline enough for the enzymes to function. Water helps to maintain plant and animal body temperatures.

Daytime heat is absorbed by the water in the oceans of the planet, which helps sustain the night temperature. For irrigating crops, water is important and consequently it is a major component of agriculture. It is common for cooking since it is boiled at 100 degrees Celsius. People use water in a variety of homes, such as washing and cleaning. Water is also used as a transport medium for freight. Many commodities are shipped throughout the continents of the earth.
