They are also responsible for ensuring quality healthcare, preparing budget estimation, managing funds, taking action for procurement of Medical and Surgical stores every year, and regular inspection of the dispensaries.

  • The Chief Medical Officer has to accompany the Chairman whenever required. CMO also conducts training programs and makes sure that everyone in the department also attends them. He also has the authority to recruit professionals for filling up vacant posts. CMO also approves the tender for diet, laundry, biomedical waste disposal, etc.
