Who it is for

This programme is ideal for anyone who has basic computer skills and is interested in building Android apps and learning basic Java programming.

Eligibility criteria

Work Experience 

Students are expected to have basic computer skills such as managing files, running programmes, and navigating the Internet.
Android Studio will be used to build the apps, so participants must have the access to a system that can run Android Studio in order to follow along (see Android Studio's System Requirements for details). Detailed installation instructions for Android Studio will be provided as a part of the course. No experience needed.

Certification Qualifying Details

Participants are required to successfully complete all the required components of a program including 6 projects. After completing the projects, they need to verify the identity and they may be asked to do an exit interview. Once the process is successfully completed, participants will get the Udacity certificate of achievement.

Filling the form

Participants who wish to enrol for Android Basics programme by Google should follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the URL: https://www.udacity.com/course/android-basics-nanodegree-by-google--nd803

Step2: Look for the Enroll Now option on the page and click on it.

Step 3: You will be redirected to another page wherein you need to choose the payment plan you wish to opt for. 

Step 4: You will see that there are two different options appearing on your screen. The first one will be ‘Quick Checkout’. This will be the case if you are not regularly visiting Udacity. The second option will be ‘Returning student’. This is when you are regularly taking up courses from Udacity. 

Step 5: If you click ‘Quick Checkout’, then you need to sign up via Google or Facebook. 

Step 6: Here you will visit a page which will have all the fee details such as base price, discount, total fees to be paid, etc.

Step 7: If you have a coupon code with you then you can enter that or else click ‘Proceed to checkout’.

Step 8: Now, you need to do the payment process and select the mode of payment. 

Step 9: Once payment is done,  you can then be able to refer and study from the course. 

Scholarship Details

Candidates need to click on the link https://udacity.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/categories/360002443511-Scholarship-Programs. Thereafter click on Notify me and submit the details. Once the details are mailed, the candidates will start receiving notifications for scholarships that are uploaded on the website.

What is the policy on deadlines?

If the participants cannot meet the suggested guidelines they can always keep paying per month if they need more time to complete the Nanodegree program. As long as all project requirements of the programme are met with before the next billing date, participants will not be charged for another month.

Can I enrol in a Nanodegree programme at any time?

Yes, participants enrol in the program at any time. They will be able to access the course content as soon as they purchase and complete the onboarding process. 

Do I need to apply for admission?

This Nanodegree program does not need any specific experience or background.

What kind of jobs this programme prepares the participants for?

This program teaches you to build apps through projects, and will also provide Java programming foundations.

Can I enrol in more than one Udacity program at the same time?
