Course Overview

Landscape management and restoration should be among every company’s list of priorities, not only to protect the environment but to also meet the Sustainable Development Goal on Land Degradation Neutrality (SDG No 15.3). The introduction of the goal has caused companies to accelerate the process of land restoration.

These goals can be met only if the professionals working in these companies have the right set of qualities: knowledge, vision, and skill. With this course, the students can learn about the interdependence of a business and a healthy and thriving landscape. Students will also learn about the importance and value of resources found in and around the ecosystem.

This course aims to teach its students about the concept of Landscape Degradation which is a global issue that is contributing to the depletion and exploitation of the Earth’s resources.
