Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by AICTE and offered by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

All electronic devices need software interface to run and connect with each other or other device controlling programs architected and developed by Electronics and Communication Engineers. It also gives great opportunities for research and development, as everyday consumer need new devices to support them in daily life.

The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in 2004 with an annual intake of 60. Currently the annual intake is 240, besides an additional 20% under lateral entry scheme.

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the B.Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.
Lateral Entry - Diploma holders are admitted in the second year of B.Tech to the extent of 20% of intake based on the merit in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET), under the lateral entry scheme conducted by Govt. of Telangana.

Admission Details

Admissions to the Institute are made along with the other engineering colleges in the state through a common entrance test conducted by the Govt. of Telangana.

70% of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
30% of the seats are earmarked for Management / NRI candidates.

College Infrastructure

The college has all the necessary facilities and well equipped classrooms with good number of books in the library. The campus hygiene is well maintained, the wasrooms are neat and clean, the campus has a good range of wifi, like one for each floor.

Well infrastructure with furnished classrooms, equipped labs,computer labs,good library.Digital classrooms with good air-conditioned,neat seating with benches.wifi availability for every department.Indoor and outdoor games are available like volleyball,football, basketball,table tennis ,carrom,chess etc.Glass teaching board for easy looking to students.All these are well maintained daily as they clean classrooms,sanitize,wash washrooms,clean drinking water.overall conduct is awesome and hygienic

College Infrastructure

The college has the best infrastructure will all facilities. All the lab equipments are available. The class room facility is excellent. Laboratories are very well maintained. The library have all the books so all the students from every groups can access them. The hostel is well maintained will hygienic food. The rooms are well maintained with beds having 3 ceiling fans in each room with unlimited wifi. The affordability is also very good. Every students can have a good future in this college.
