The Abasaheb Garware Institute of Management Studies, Sangli, is a well-reputed educational institute, established in the year 2011. The institute of AGIMS is affiliated with AICTE, and it assures the quality of all the concerned educational services provided. Spread over an area of 0.81 acres, the campus is quite compact and this lends the learning atmosphere an intimate look. AGIMS currently holds an enrolment of 77 students with a faculty strength of 3, which helps maintain the aspect of personalised attention to students. 

The Abasaheb Garware Institute of Management Studies has a host of modern infrastructure to support its academic programmes. The campus is fully networked with Wi-Fi connectivity for easy access to digital resources. The knowledge treasure house is the library, comprising more than 3,000 volumes, which contain both textbooks and reference books. The library subscribes to 12 national and 12 international journals. The language laboratory is fully equipped to enhance the communication capabilities of the students because this is the basic tool needed for a professional life. It also consists of a well-established computer lab with net connectivity, an auditorium that can accommodate 120 persons to conduct events and seminars, and a canteen, which takes care of the students and staff by providing hygienic food. On the front of the holistic development of the students, AGIMS has sports facilities and maintains health centre with first-aid facilities.

AGIMS has limited itself to the offer of one course—the Master's in Business Administration (MBA) programme. This is a full-time postgraduate degree of two years duration. In providing a master's in business administration, AGIMS designed the programme to inculcate in students the knowledge and skills needed to excel in this ever-changing business world.

Admissions seek worthy merit-oriented students. At AGIMS entry is strictly through entrance exams. The college accepts scores of MAH MBA CET, a common state-level exam carried in Maharashtra for MBA students' admission.
