ABI and ABI College of Arts Science & Technology, Thanjavur was started in the year 1996 Under this university, the college is affiliated and located in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India. Established on a land area of 6 acres the institution today provide more than 20 courses in 11 different degree programs. The college has a student enrolment of 1,432 and a faculty of 22, which enables the students to best grow academically. The purpose of this institution boasts of quality education, this is in light of the very diverse course provided with major focusing on art, science and technology.

The college has numerous amenities that seek to improve the college learning environment. These help students enjoy good laboratory facilities which meet departmental requirements in a way that promotes practical experience and skill. It boasts of a contemporary library that act as an important feature of the institution and academic learning. In order to facilitate the students the college has arranged both boys’ and girls’ hostel so that they could happily reside there. 

This campus has effective facilities such as computer and other needed materials to foster computerized learning programs. First aid services exist in a health centre since immediate medical attentions may be required. It has also an audition that is used to hold an election, gatherings, seminars, and other activities promoting co-curricular activities as well as the exchange of knowledge among students. Also for the health of the students sports facilities are available to equip the students with a spirit of team work.

This paper seeks to analyze various aspects of courses offered by ABI and ABI College and therefore, to do this, I will look at the following courses offered by ABI and ABI College to satisfy different and unique interests of students. It has developed 20 full time courses and these are offered at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. Among the undergraduate courses are B.Sc in Automobile Science, Health Care and Hospital Management, Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Electronics and Communications, Biochemistry, Computer Sciences, Physics, Mathematics. The college also provides BCA, BBA, B.Com in Advanced Accountancy and Computer, BSW, B.Lit in Tamil Literature and CMA – BA in English Literature. Post graduate courses include MA in English, M.Com in Advanced Accountancy and Computer, M.Sc in Computer Science and Health Care and Hospital Management, MSW and MCA. The total number of students that can be taken per year is one thousand, four hundred and thirty-two, which has a symbol of the institution is willing and capable of offering quality education to a large number of students.
