The Academy of Management & Information Technology (AMIT) Khurda is a ISO certified college affiliated to BPUT, Odisha. AMIT was started in the year 2010 and today is a fully fledge institution with primary aim in providing diversified courses in various fields. It located on 5 Acres of land in the Khordha Industrial Estate makes an ideal atmosphere for learning and other collegiate related activities. Officially recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the learning at AMIT is quite formal. Fundamentally, the student enrolment of one hundred and one and the faculty strength of three affords the institute the opportunity of closely identifying with its students. AMIT offers 14 courses in 6 programmes as a management, information technology, sciences and mass communication university.

The Academy of Management and Information Technology provides an array of amenities favourable to the students. The college library is well stocked and operates on computerisation system, and has books to offer in various disciplines such as Bio-science, Journalism, Management, Computer Science and so on. It also has a subscription of various periodicals and newspaper to ensure that students are updated on various developments in their areas of specialisation. AMIT has a wide range of programmes where students can enroll for; these are both under graduate and post graduate programmes. Currently the institute offers 14 programmes across the disciplines and both full time and part time mode. Some of the prime comprehended courses options are MBA, BCA, BBA, M Science – Biotechnology & Computer Science besides several Science (Hon’s) in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Geology, Computer Science and Information Technology. Besides, the college also has a MJMC, Masters Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication programme.
