Acharya Deshbhushan College of Education, Shamanewadi is the affiliated college which started in the year 2005 at Belgaum, Karnataka. This Institution is NCTE approved and is dedicated to imparting training in teacher education. A compact campus of the college occupies an area of 5.97 acres; therefore, it provides students with relevant learning conditions for future professionals. The college takes 190 students in total enrolment while it has a faculty of its own of 14 which makes the best student-teacher ratio.

Acharya Deshbhushan College of Education has various amenities it involves in a bid to improve the learning environment of students. Acharya Deshbhushan College of Education aims at promoting quality teacher education, thus offering Bachelors in Education (B.ED). This is a full-time programme which stretches over two years and has an approved capacity of 100 student intakes for the institution. Bachelor of Education is purposely intended to prepare students to be professional teachers with adequate knowledge, understanding and teaching competencies expected of teachers who are to teach in the 21st century. As of today, the college provides only one degree programme but it is precisely this factor that enables it to provide comprehensive preparation in the sphere of education.

Admission of students is based on merit list as per the norms of state government, union territory administration and the University to which the College is affiliated to.
