Acharya Sadashiv Shiksha Sansthan, Pratapgarh was established in 2015 and this is an affiliated college situated in Kharhar Sipahmaheri, Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh. This co – education college is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education, with an emphasis on courses leading to the preparation of teachers. With a total enrolment of 464 students and a faculty strength of 39, the institute offers two full-time courses: B.Ed and D.El.Ed. College is comparatively younger in nature but has been constantly expanding its role in field of education to equip the young and budding teacher with right training and knowledge. The institute possesses various infrastructural amenities that are useful in improving the learning activities as well as the students’ personal development. 

A standard library is a knowledge centre as it's students with all possible educational references. Acharya Sadashiv Shiksha Sansthan also understand that students need to keep fit and thus have facilities for sports and a gym for students to work out and have recreation. To meet the modern challenges of the IT environment all around the world, the institute has equipped itself with an excellent IT infrastructure to familiarise students with modern facilities in education. Laboratories are useful for the functional requirements of educating teachers as they offer the basics of enacting skills for students. Under the accommodation section the college offers guest room facilities for the convenience of visiting faculty or students’ families. Medical care is provided with a health centre that is in a position to address the health needs of any person developing a health complication on campus. 

Acharya Sadashiv Shiksha Sansthan a college of teacher education offers three programmes in teacher education. The B.Ed and the D. El. Ed courses are two-year full time programmes. Each of the programme has been approved to have an intake capacity of one hundred students thus the cumulative student enrolment for the two courses is two hundred. Such programmes are meant to prepare students for the tasks of a good teacher in different levels of the school system. These two core programmes as the centres of attention enable institute to provide focused and intensive preparation of teachers. 

Admission in Acharya Sadashiv Shiksha Sansthan is directly based on merit list, which has been framed taking into consideration the policy rules of State Government of Uttar Pradesh and the University with which it is affiliated. In case of the B.Ed programme, the admissions are done strictly on mark secured in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination conducted for the same. Likewise, the course curriculum of D.El.Ed programme admits the candidates on merit basis, preferably marks obtained in the qualifying examination or entrance test. 

The institute follows any other screening process as prescribed by the state government or UT administration. Acharya Sadashiv Shiksha Sansthan, Pratapgarh is a nascent institute, however, the institute is gradually making its impact on teacher education.
