VITA Sangli: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Adarsh College of Pharmacy, Vita (VITA Sangli) was established in the year 2013 and is located at Bhavaninagar, Kundal Road, Vita, Taluka- Khanapur, Sangli, Maharashtra. The affiliation of this college is with the concern of the Pharmacy Council of India, thus assuring that the quality of education is never below par. VITA Sangli offers a wide range of courses in the field of pharmacy for 396 students pursuing studies there. The campus spreads on an area of 3.16 acres. The student-faculty ratio is well maintained with 30 faculty members.

The college provides them with a host of facilities that would enrich the learning environment of the students. In addition to the knowledge hub, which is fully equipped with the state-of-the-art laboratories, serving as the very mainstay of practical skills in a very important aspect of pharmacy education. The IT infrastructure of the college keeps students updated with the technological developments in the field. VITA, Sangli, for all-round development, provides sports facilities along with a gymnasium. The campus has also been enabled with an auditorium for events, seminars, and guest lectures, and this helps create a lively academic atmosphere on campus. There is also a cafeteria that meets the dietary requirements of students and staff. The welfare of the student is kept on priority; there is a health centre that caters to first-aid needs. It also provides transport facilities to the students for ease of commuting.

The Adarsh College of Pharmacy, Vita offers a total of four full-time courses in pharmacy education: one undergraduate (B.Pharma), one diploma (D.Pharma), and two postgraduate programmes, including M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics and M.Pharma in Pharmacology. In this way, the college offers a wide range of programs to fulfill different types of educational requirements in the pharmaceuticals sector, from basics to specialized skills.

Adarsh College of Pharmacy, Vita primarily has an entrance examination-based admission process. Admissions to the first year of the B.Pharma program are based on the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, MHT CET. The common entrance test shall constitute the screening test for admission to the said first year of the B.Pharma course on the basis of the candidate's aptitude for pharmacy studies.
