Adesh College of Education, Pilibhit: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Adesh College of Education began in the year 2012 and is an affiliated college located in the Narayanpur, Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh. It occupies a compact campus of 0.75737 acres with the aim to provide quality education in the teaching training field. The institution, after getting approval from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), now prepares future educators with focused attention on its curriculum. The college has an overall enrolment of 586 students and faculty strength of 28, so it maintains a suitable student-to-teacher ratio.

This will provide individualised attention to each student. To upgrade the learning for students, various facilities are provided in the college. The library serves as a knowledge hub, which acts as a resource base for the activities of scholars. For physical development of the students, sports facilities are made available. The college has well-equipped laboratories, which support practical learning. To keep pace with the digital age, Adesh College of Education has invested in excellent IT infrastructure. For the health and well-being of students, the college has established a health center with first aid facilities. The college hosts several events, seminars, etc in its college auditorium. A canteen caters to the food needs of faculty and students, while a guest house accommodates visiting faculty and student's family members.

Adesh College of Education offers only one main course- the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). It is a two years full-time course that aims to equip its graduates with the readiness for teaching at the elementary education level. The college has an intake of 100 seats approved for this course, which means the development of a significant number of qualified teachers every year. The D.El.Ed course provided in Adesh College of Education is meant to effectively portray the theories of education along with practical teaching skills. 

The merit will be based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination for admission to Adesh College of Education. Admission policy will be decided by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh as well as the affiliated university.
