One of the premier educational institutes in the state, Aditya College of Engineering and Technology was established in 2004 at Surampalem, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. The institution is an affiliated college approved by AICTE and is spread over 180 acres, accredited by NAAC. Aditya College of Engineering and Technology has a total student enrolment of 4,139, with a faculty strength of 544.

Aditya College of Engineering and Technology has a number of state-of-the-art facilities to aid in the process of learning for its students. The campus has well-equipped laboratories for all departments, and courses in Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Information Technology provide practical experience. It houses a knowledge hub of a library with more than 43,503 volumes, 62 print journals, and access to a large number of e-journals and online resources. The College has separate hostels for boys and girls with nutritious food, well-furnished accommodation, and round-the-clock academic guidance by resident faculty.

Aditya College of Engineering and Technology offers many courses that would cater to diverse academic interests of the students. It offers 21 courses, ranging from full-time undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses to diploma courses. The undergraduate courses include popular B.Tech programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and the newly introduced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. At the postgraduate level, college offers M.Tech specialisations, MCA, and MBA programmes. The college offers Diploma Courses in various branches of Engineering. 

Aditya College of Engineering and Technology Admission Process is based on the entrance examination. The institute accepts the score of several state-level entrance examinations, such as AP EAMCET for the under-graduate level engineering programs, APICET for MCA and MBA admissions, and AP PGECET for the postgraduate engineering program.
