Agnibina School of Education, Birbhum: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Agnibina School of Education is situated at Lohapur, Nalhati, Birbhum district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It was established with the aim of bestowing teacher education and caters to the welfare of the pupil. This college was started in the year 2016 by the Board of Secondary, Higher Secondary Education, and by the west Bengal government. It adjoins, across 0.76 acres of a very compact campus, two specific courses with an enrolment of approximately 200 students. Approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Agnibina School of Education commits towards shaping the future of aspiring educators.

The list of facilities follows:. My college campus is equipped with features such as a well-equipped library that serves as a knowledge hub, IT infrastructure that ensures university students remain updated with technological strides made towards the imparting of education, laboratories for practical implementation, an auditorium that accommodates huge events and seminars, medical facilities with first aid services for student health, and a number of sports facilities for students to remain balanced in education. The institute arranges an on-campus cafeteria to fulfill the dietary needs of the students and staff members. Besides that, the hostel accommodation facilities are also provided for both male and female students in the institute so that students can commute to and fro from distant locations.

 In the current scenario, Agnibina School of Education focuses exclusively on full-time courses, namely Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Elementary Education. The number of seats sanctioned in the B.Ed course is 100 and in the D.El.Ed program, that of 50 seats.

The admission at Agnibina School of Education is purely based on the merit, keeping in view the marks obtained at the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The institute takes into account all policies and guidelines of the state government and affiliating university regarding the selection of students.
