AJ College of Education, Machilipatnam: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

AJ College of Education, Machilipatnam, was established in the year 1967 as one of the premiere institutions in the country for shaping the future of education. This affiliated college, located in the Campus of Krishna University, Raju Peta, Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh, has guided aspiring educators for more than five decades. This college is NAAC accredited and NCTE approved, thus ensuring quality education and standards up to the national level for its students. Stretching over 5 acres of campus, AJ College of Education offers two undergraduate degree courses with a total student intake of 92 and a faculty of 6 dedicated educators. 

AJ College of Education has various facilities that enhance students' learning processes. It has a well-stocked library that acts as a knowledge hub by providing materials necessary for research and learning. There are different departmental laboratories in the institution that help an individual learn through practical experiences. The auditorium hosts a number of events and seminars that help to foster a lively academic atmosphere. This institution is very much committed to modern education, which is reflected in its very good IT infrastructure. Sports facilities are available to all students for their holistic development. There is a cafeteria which caters to the culinary needs of the college community, while a health centre with first-aid facilities looks after the well-being of students and staff alike. 

AJ College of Education offers three regular courses on a full-time basis: Bachelor of Education, Master of Education, and Diploma in Elementary Education. All these three programmes have an approved intake of 50 students each, hence totaling 150 seats in all the courses. B.Ed and M.Ed are two-year programmes with an ideal mix of theoretical and practical knowledge to help students forge a successful career in this vocation. The D.El.Ed. course is oriented towards elementary education. With a total of 92 students enrolled, the student-to-staff ratio is good for personal attention and the delivery of quality education.

The AJ College of Education admits students based on merit, considering marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Admission to the B.Ed. course is based on the policy formulated by the state government, UT Administration, and the university. The admission procedure for M.Ed and D.El.Ed is also similar, based on merit, and governed by the policies of the government and the university.
