Akal Degree College, Barnala Road, Sangrur was established in 1964 is co-educational institution situated near Gurudwara Mastuana Sahib, Barnala Road, Sangrur, Punjab. The college recognised by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is an affiliated college. Located in a 10.13 acre area, the institute offers 19 courses in 11 degree disciplines. The college has a total enrolment of 1,073 and faculty of 51 so it offers a good teaching environment for student to learn from. This college has a diverse range of programmes ranging from undergraduate to postgraduate levels in a broad area of specialisation.
