Al Hidayah College of Education, Aligarh was established in 2013, which is affiliated to Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is affiliated to through out the 1.5 acres of land and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college is currently hosting 97 students and 13 lecturers with 4 recognised undergraduate degree programmes. Al Hidayah College of Education is in fact a coed school which means that it admits both male and female students. The college offers specialisation in Arts, Commerce, and Education so as to meet the need of all students. The institute provides the following equipments and services to improve the learning and teaching process of the students in the Institute.
Library forms a part of requisite infrastructure that consists of requisite books for student academic needs. The college sustains both fully operant and intermittently used laboratories, especially ideal for the college’s educational programmes. To ensure improved physical fitness and recreation there are.facilities such as gym and sports facilities within reach of all students. digital technology is present in the campus; the students and the practices have access to current Information Technology facilities and internet connection in this campus. An auditorium addresses events and seminars and shapes the interests of extra-curriculum. The college also has an eating place where students can get foods, a first aid station which is a health centre to provide medical services. Another type of accommodation is also provided for guests including other faculties and students’ relatives who may be in want of accommodation when visiting the school.
Al Hidayah College of Education has 4 full-time courses, and it is offered under different fields of study. It has an approved intake of 645 combined for the total number of undergraduate programmes, thus the institute has capacity to admit many students. Though, the graduating data of the latest year is missing, the college is still imparting education and graduating students in Arts, Commerce, Education stream etc.
Admission of students to Al Hidayah College of Education differs from one programme to the other. For the B.Ed programme, admission shall be strictly with merit which may include marks in the qualifying examination and / or entrance examination as per the policy of the State Govt. / U.T. Administration and University. Likewise, for the D.El.Ed programme, the admission is merit based including marks obtained in the qualifying examination and or entrance examination as per State Government/UT Administration norm. It is however important to note that there are no certain days that are highlighted to admit students, however, any dissection should refer to the college website or the college admission office to get current updates.
