Al Jamia Arts and Science College, Valambur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Al Jamia has a contextualised establishment in 2010 in Malappuram, Kerala as an Arts, Commerce, and Science College affiliated to the University of Calicut. The institution is located on a large plot of land of 15.71 acres; it operates twelve courses, six of which correspond to degree programmes. The college takes 895 students and has a faculty of 39 well trained and experienced. The institution mainly focuses on different disciplines such as Islamic studies, English, computer application, psychology, Geographical Sciences and Food Technology for its students.

That way, tAl Jamia Arts and Science College has many facilities that help in the general experience of education in the institution. The library is composed of over 6,000 books, bound periodicals and journals, and an E-library that contains electronic information. Every department also has a collection of reserved books reserved exclusively only for that department. technology freaks will find the Computer Science department well facilitated with a computerised laboratory consisting of personal systems and broadband connection. Currently, Psychology and Geography faculties have laboratories equipped with important equipment. There are sporting amenities for the students so as to have their body as well as minds shaped and built up by other appropriate physical structures. The college also has an auditorium for special occasions and seminars, and a cafeteria for the drinks and-snacks, the college also has separate hostels for boys and girls.

There are in total one overall courses offered in Al Jamia Arts and Science College and all the courses offered are fulltime. These are 11 Undergraduate courses and one, Post graduate course. As for quantative aspect one can note the absence of the graduates number for the latest year, however, the concentration on a vast number of subject areas points to the consistent inflow of qualified people to various professions.
