The Al Madina College of Education was set up in 1984 as a leading college in Mahabubnagar of Telangana state. This affiliated college offer programmes in teacher education and other disciplines and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). argcuated in a spacious 76.6 acre complex the issue affords students with a perfect environment that enhances learning and development. Its student enrolment is 300 while the faculties and staff constitutes 33 hence ensuring proper student teacher ratio in order to deliver quality education. Having open access system and computerised bibliographic information, students are able to have full access to plenty of information stored in the library. The college also offers fitted computer laboratories stocked with seventy computing systems, and that are air-conditioned to latest technological development in college education. Some of the other facilities provided include an event and seminar facility in an auditorium, canteen, first aid in the health centre, gym and other sports facilities. The college has hostel facilities for out – station students both for boys and girls separately.

Al Madina College of Education teaches total full-time courses of three for the specialty of education. These are the Bachelors of Education, the Masters of Education and the Diploma of Education. The B.Ed category has the largest number of slots for intake followed by both M.Ed and D.Ed, which has 50 seats each. 

Selection for admission to Al Madina College of Education is purely done on merit basis the marks obtained in the qualifying and entrance examination. For the B.ED programme admissions, are done according to the policy formulated by the state government/UT administration and the affiliated university.
