Al Rashid College of Education, Purba Bardhaman: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Established in 2015, Al Rashid College of Education is located in Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal. This co-educational institution is an affiliated college duly approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. The lush green campus of 1.36 acres encompasses under its stronghold three specializations in education with a total enrolment of 420 students. With a strength of 16, it maintains a very healthy student-to-teacher ratio. Al Rashid College of Education works towards the enrichment of future educators with its focused teacher training curriculum through integrated and standalone B.Ed. courses.

The facilities at Al Rashid College cater to the needs of students in learning and development. The library will work as the main source for books and other materials of academic interest. It helps in their pursuit of education by giving appropriate arrangements to the students. There are laboratories to cater to the practical needs in most subjects, which the students can easily avail of. Al Rashid College of Education will admit its students on the basis of merit, which it shall determine by the marks obtained at the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination. The admission is made according to the policies prescibed by the state government of West Bengal as well as that prescribed by the affiliating university. Admission for the B.Ed. program of this college will be made on the basis of the performance of the candidates at the qualifying examination, and if necessary, an entrance test. The BA, B.Ed. and B.Sc., B.Ed. integrated, and other admissions are merit-based and according to the guidelines set by the state government and the university.
