All India Institute of Local Self Government, Ahmedabad: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

All India Institute of Local Self Government (AIILSG) Ahmedabad was established in 1965 as a regional centre of AIILSG. AIILSG Ahmedabad offers three courses in the fields of local governance, health and sanitation, and hospitality management. AIILSG Ahmedabad admissions are based on a merit list prepared by the institute. The candidates have to register online on the official website of the institute and pay the course fee online. 

The institute is recognised by the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India and affiliated with Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU). The AIILSG Ahmedabad courses include the Sanitary Inspectors’ Diploma Course (S.I.) for one year, Diploma in Local Self Government (L.S.G.D.) - (DLP) for one year, and Bachelor of Vocational Education - Hospitality Management for three years. 

The AIILSG Ahmedabad eligibility criteria for admission to these courses are 10+2 or equivalent with science subjects. The candidates have to submit the required documents and photographs at the AIILSG centre within seven working days after online registration. AIILSG Ahmedabad placement cell provides career guidance and assistance to the students. The institute organises various placement activities, such as campus interviews, job fairs, workshops, seminars, etc.
