Amar Shanth Para Medical Institute is one of the rapidly growing educational institutions, situated in Mangalore, Karnataka which was started in the year 2014. It is a co-educational institute that aims to address the para medical education in particular and offer a wide variety of courses for health care education in general. The institute is located in a small area of 7 acres and has an appropriate learning atmosphere for its 129 registered students. The faculty of the Amar Shanth Para Medical Institute comprises of 16 members who dedicated their professional career exclusively to teaching. Institute currently teaches 9 courses at three levels of degrees providing various specialisations in paramedical field.

Education is enriched by the availability of the following facilities available in the institute to improve the learning and development of the students. A library with all the basic facilities is an efficient knowledge center; it offers many a medical literature and resource. Modern instrumental facilities are on hand, which are essential to the training of paramedical stratum. The institute also has an auditorium for functions, and other academic activities which gives it a lively academic environment. To accommodate those wanting to stay in shape, a gym has been provided for on site. The institute recognises the importance of students’ welfare is well provided for by having different hostels for boys and girls for out station students.

Amar Shanth Para Medical Institute covers all the required courses of paramedical courses appropriate to the various specialist area of health care services. There are 9 full time courses offered by the institute comprising of both undergraduate and postgraduate level. At the Undergraduate level, students can study programmes of B.Sc Medical Lab Technology, Diagnostic Imaging Technology, Operation Theater Technology, Renal Dialysis Technology etc. For the post graduate, the institute provides Master of Science (M.Sc) in Medical Imaging Technology. Further, the institute offers diploma courses in Dialysis Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, Medical Lab Technology (DMLT), Medical Imaging Technology. These diploma programmes have an approved admission capacity of twenty students each, making the teaching effective and quality.
