Ambalika Institute of Professional Studies, Lucknow (AIPS), was set up in 2016 and has become one of the reputed colleges of the state. This affiliated college is located in Mohanlalganj, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, which has grown up to be one of the most prominent center of technical education. Recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), AIPS presently awards three diploma courses in the field of engineering. The Institute is housed in a 4.08 acre campus and has a total student capacity of 323 students and a faculty of 26 members. AIPS is known for its quality teaching in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Automobile Engineering to compete the technological world as well. 

Ambalika Institute of Professional Studies boasts of facilities that are modern to create conducive environment for learning to the students. AIPS has well equipped laboratory with foghting and other equipments essential for practical training of diploma courses. Besides a computer and IT lab with internet-enabled computers the campus uses a 24/7 Wi-Fi network for easy access to information. The institute also has its own library procuring approximately 2600 volumes in various subjects and 20 journals in various specializations. The library contains 85 seats and 12 multimedia PCs which will create a suitable learning environment for research and staying at the library. Currently, Ambalika Institute of Professional Studies provides the total of three full time diploma courses in which each course take three years to complete. All its programmes have an approved student intake of 180 students in combined. These courses allow students to study general course and professional subjects at the same time contributing to the formation of competitive workplace personas. 

The admission procedure at Ambalika Institute of Professional Studies is relatively simple, and a major criterion for admission entrance examination called Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Polytechnic also called JEECUP.
