Ambika Teacher Training College is one of the dedicated educational institutions for teacher training which is situated at Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. This affiliated college has been in existence since 2009 and has tried to revolutionise education for more than a decade now. Being a small college, the institution spreads over an area of only 1.24 acres and serves 186 students that study in the college. The college has 15 faculties of competent and experienced educators and hence, the college has a favorable student-teacher ratio.

The college boasts of well equipped facilities to foster the whole-some experience for the students. The essence of the institution is an extensive library which gathers more than 7,867 books concentrating on teacher education, educational psychology, computer education, as well as various teaching methods. They still have educational encyclopedias, year books and electronic publications exhibiting important knowledge for teachers-in-the-making. But for practical activities, the college has good laboratories for practical exercises.

For now, Ambika Teacher Training College only offers one, but important programme – the Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) programme. This is a two-year course that prepares full-time competent and caring professional educators. The approved intake for the programme is 100 seats to cater students require thorough knowledge in various aspects related to the education field so that they are ready to face the task and joy of being a teacher.

Admission at Ambika Teacher Training College has also been carried out following the laid down policies of the state government/UT administration and the affiliated university. Admission is offered depending on the performance in the qualifying examination and or the entrance examination. This kind of thorough means of selection guarantees that right candidate or person is hired to bring out their dreams of becoming a teacher. The college is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) thus ensuring that the education produced is of national standard.
