About Ammaiappar Polytechnic College (APC) established in the year 2013 is an affiliated College situated in Dhalavaipuram, Tamil Nadu. This is AICTE approved polytechnic located in a 12 acre campus and provides diploma courses in various engineering fields. At present, the institute provides complete five diploma courses in Mechanical, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Civil, Automobile Engineering.

The college has a variety of services to improve learning environment for students, which includes a library that holds a significant position in learning as would it helps to gain access to a plethora of information resources for a student preparing for the future. It has state of the art laboratories for each engineering department to ensure that the student practices what is learned in class. Ammaiappar Polytechnic College in Tamil Nadu offers five diploma courses which are all day time courses. Among all these five courses, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering has the highest number of seat intakes which are 120 seats for the programme, whereas the other four programmes namely Diploma Electronics and Communication Engineering, Diploma Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Diploma in Civil Engineering and Diploma in Automobile Engineering has 60 seats each for programme.
