Amrita Polytechnic College offered in Kanyakumari established in 2006 is one of the reputed polytechnic college located at Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college recognised by All India Council for Technical Education – AICTE offers various diploma programmes in engineering branches. Situated in a large area, the Amrita Polytechnic College covers about 100 acres of land hence enabling erection of proper environment for training technical students. Currently, the college has 53 dedicated faculty members aiming at producing professional technicians and engineers. The institution offers five diploma courses mainly in different branches of Engineering apart from which the centre has an approved General enrolment of 408 students across all the courses offered.

There is Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Computer Engineering, Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering for sandwich system students.
