Anand College of Education, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal was established in the year 2018. This was established with the ultimate motive to provide education in a conducive environment. Anand College of Education has been permitted to conduct various programs in the fields of Education and Pharmacy by NCTE and AICTE. One such college with a faculty strength of 26 members is the Anand College of Education.

At the very centre of the institution is a well-stocked library.  Besides these, sophisticated laboratories and a central instrumentation facility are available to facilitate practical skills amongst students in furthering their careers. The college has embarked on a massive IT infrastructure to keep in tune with the digital era of learning.

Anand College of Education offers four main courses to cater to the different educational aspirations, namely: B.Ed. is the flagship course for those who want to take up teaching as a profession with an intake of 100 seats. It offers D.El.Ed with 50 seats for the early childhood educators. 

The Admission process to the courses offered in Anand College of Education goes by different parameters. In case of B.Ed, it is strictly done according to the norms laid down by WBUTTEPA. Admissions for D.El.Ed are based on merit, considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and entrance examination as per state government policies.
