Anchal College, Padampur was established in the year 1965, and it is an affiliated college situated in Padampur, Odisha. This is an undergraduate college provision with a sprawling compound of 39.81 acre providing a host of undergraduate programmes. This college was accredited to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) proving its quality and standard. With 1, 079 students intake and 46 faculty members, Anchal College creates a favourable environment to learn. Presently, the institute is teaching 18 courses which are spread over six degrees namely arts, science, and commerce streams.

The Anchal College possesses all that a student needs for their proper development not only in their studies but also in their entire personality. Computerisation of library through IVY-LIBRARY 4.0 software has been done with books kept in the library worth for 22000 with full bibliographic details of these books available through OPAC. From the practical learning aspect the college has all essential laboratories or as we may call a 25-seater computer facility established under RUSA grant assistance. Language laboratory with 8 facility of computers helps to improve the communication skills in English of the students.

In all, Anchal College, Padampur provides eighteen undergraduate courses and these are all regular programmes such as BA, B.Sc, B.com. It offers an array of general streams and subjects in all its courses in arts, science, and commerce stream.
