Swampatna Anchalika Degree Mahavidyalaya, Keonjhar is a co education college established in 1982. It currently has 14 courses in 4 programmes and has a rich variety of focuses in arts and sciences. I found that college has 15 faculties members from freshers to experienced that’s why college has good faculty students ratio which help to provide good education to the students.

The Swampatna Anchalika Degree Mahavidyalayala has promise of an all rounded learning facility endowed with several amenities within it to address the need of the students. The institution has a lofty library containing the various books stocked in the library is opened between 10am to 4 pm on all working days to facilitate the study atmosphere for the learners. However, for those interested in physical health the college has a gym facility for them. The college also has departmental laboratories relevant to practical lessons in area and science colleges. 

Anchalika Degree Mahavidyalaya has a total of fourteen courses and all of these are full time. The college offers both pure and applied programmes in arts and sciences at general and honours levels. The arts stream offers a general B.A. option or honours options in Economics, Education, English, History, Odia, Philosophy and Political Science. The science stream of the University offers an ordinary B.Sc degree apart from the specialised honours programmes in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Mathematics.
