Andhra Engineering College, established in the year 2010, has proved to be one of the most renowned and respected educational institutes located at Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. One of the sprawling campuses over an area of 10.15 acres, AEC offers lots of engineering programs to the students seeking admission. This college is affiliated with the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur, and is recognised for its excellent standards of education. The AEC ensures to offer the best standards of technical education for its programs under the approval of AICTE. Currently, the total student enrolment stands at 492 while the faculty strength is 56; a very good ratio between student and faculty members is available for the complete and proper individual attention and guidance of students. 

AEC takes pride in offering a complete set of facilities that add on to making the learning of the students at the institution quite good. The campus has well-equipped laboratories for each specialisation. The students are exposed to practical knowledge, with theoretical inputs. The college library would act as a knowledge hub, where one could find a huge collection of books, journals, and research papers regarding to different disciplines in engineering. For those needing accommodation, there are separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with quite robust security measures. Andhra Engineering College offers 8 programmes in various streams of engineering. Full time Under Graduate and Post Graduate programs are primarily run by the institute. At the UG level, AEC offers a basket of six B.Tech courses: Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and the recently introduced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. At the postgraduate level, there are two M.Tech courses: Computer Science and Engineering and Embedded Systems.

Andhra Engineering College (AEC), Nellore is a technologically advanced educational institution under the aegis of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur. The college accepts scores of the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) for postgraduate programs.

B.Tech: Andhra Engineering College provides six B.Tech courses for 330 seats. They include Computer Science and Engineering with 90 seats, Electronics and Communication Engineering with 60 seats, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with 60 seats, Civil Engineering with 60 seats, Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 30 seats, and Mechanical Engineering with 30 seats. Admissions are provided mainly on the basis of AP EAMCET, followed by counseling.

M.Tech: AEC provides two M.Tech courses, i.e., Computer Science and Engineering (9 seats) and Embedded Systems (18 seats). Master's course admissions are on AP PGECET marks. Admission is open to concerned B.Tech equivalent degree holder. Merit of qualifying degree along with entrance test mark might be followed for selection.
