Angappa College of Arts and Science came into the existence in 1997 at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. clearly located on a spacious land of 10.75 acres of land, ACAS is affiliated college to produce quality education in different fields. The college provides 12 courses in seven degree programmes for 720 enrolments in students. ACAS has a team of 27 committed members of the faculty which make sure that the student to teacher ratio is kept small enough to enable one to effectively cater for each student individually.

An organised library with an ability to accommodate nearly 7000 books and 13 journals is also available to support the students and the faculty members. There are two computerised laboratories and one communication and training laboratory computerised which enable the student with IT experience. For the athletic major, ACAS provides many indoor and outdoor exercise facilities for individuals interested in basketball as well as state of art gym.

Angappa College of Arts and Science also provides 12 courses with undergraduate and postgraduate programmes along with doctoral programmes. The programmes which are being offered are conventional ones like B.Com, B.Sc Computer Science, BCA, BBA, M.Sc Computer Science and M.Com etc. Programme like B.Com Professional Accounting, B.Com Computer Applications and B.Sc Mathematics with Computer Applications are designed to fit specific needs of specific job market.
