Anjuman Islam Janjira Degree College of Science for boys,Murud Janjira (Maharashtra) was established in year 2009 and it is affiliated college. This NAAC accredited institution provides several science courses at under graduate as well as post graduate level courses. The college occupies a small area of 5 acres but it is developing so it has total student enrollment 175, 78 % female student in undergraduate course and 59 % in postgraduate course . Our college has 17 members of the faculty and 6 courses 2 levels offering Chemistry, Botany and Computer Science. The institution has the interest of ensuring it provides the students with good environment for learning. 

It has provisions of teaching laboratories for chemistry, physics, botany, zoology computer science with respective modern necessary safety arrangements and most required laboratory equipments. It is a central place for learning and information, with printed materials, ranging from books and magazines, to references and special reprography facilities, as well as having internet connection. 

There is also a reading room which has a seating capacity of up to thirty students’ maximum capacity. The whole place is connected to Wi-Fi and so both the lecture rooms, laboratories and secretarial offices are on the same network. Extra curricula activities are also facilitated at the college; the college has sports facilities and a good gym. There is also an auditorium for special occasions like seminars and a canteen for buyers and a health center which contains a first aid section.

The undergraduate level includes three-year B.Sc., programs of study, Chemistry, Botany, and Computer science while the postgraduate level is comprised of two-year M.Sc., programs of study offered in Chemistry and Botany. The total approved admission capacity of the college is 360 for the undergraduate programs with 120 for B.Sc. Chemistry, B.Sc. Botany and B.Sc. Computer Science respectively.
